Roots of Behavior
Parent Workshop · Part 1 · 60 minutes
Every behavior has roots. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn what your child’s behavior is really telling you. Using simple, research-based tools from applied behavior analysis (ABA), you’ll learn to spot patterns, understand the four main reasons behind challenging behavior, and teach your child a better way to get their needs met. You’ll leave with a new way of seeing tantrums, meltdowns, and power struggles, plus an easy tracking tool to use at home.
Growing Good Behavior
Parent Workshop · Part 2 · 60 minutes
Ready to turn understanding into action? This practical workshop is packed with research-based strategies you can use right away: visual routines, First/Then, giving choices, directions that work, specific praise, and how to follow through calmly. You’ll practice with real-life role-plays and leave with a personalized plan for fewer battles and calmer days.
Branching Out
Parent Workshop · Part 3 · 60 minutes
Help your child do more on their own. Learn the simple, step-by-step teaching methods behavior analysts use to build independence: breaking skills into small steps, giving just enough help, and celebrating every bit of progress. From getting dressed to clean-up to communication, you’ll discover everyday teaching moments already in your routine, and leave with a skill plan you can start tomorrow.
Seeing Behavior Through Different Lenses
Professional Development · 60 minutes
For educators, therapists, medical providers, and early childhood staff.
What looks like “defiance” may be a skill gap, a medical issue, or a learned pattern. This interactive session gives professionals a research-based framework for looking at challenging behavior through six lenses: description, function, context, skill, history and culture, and our own responses. Through case studies and small-group practice, you’ll leave with practical questions for any team meeting and a shared language for working across disciplines.
