About Me
Introduction
Hello, I’m Ashley Potratz, I am a compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) dedicated to empowering children with diverse abilities and their families. I spent nine years as a special education teacher in public schools, working with young children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and challenging behaviors. During that time, I collaborated with occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physical therapists, and social workers for a holistic, individualized, and effective support plan for my students.
Before becoming a BCBA, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for two years, providing in-home and clinic-based services. Later, I completed a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a Concentration in Autism. I have used my skills to support young individuals, families, teachers, service providers, and school districts. I am committed to using evidence-based practices and my expertise to help children, their families, and their communities thrive as they navigate developmental and behavioral challenges.
